The so called 'Arab Spring' has, except for the fact that young people
from the middle class are involved, nothing to to with the so called
'Summer of Love'.
Augustus Owsley Stanley at times mixed meth into the acid. He said it
"adds clarity to the trip".
(see Charles Perry: The Haight-Ashbury. A History.)
And Jerry Garcia, old polytoxic he was, died not simply from "heart
failure" yet from trying to undo his heroin addiction.
Things probably weren't that 'spiritual' at all ...
Also read that Grace Slick did acid and weed just for the media and was
actually an --- alcoholic.
