in itself, imho. Slants of perception beyond--or including both--our stereotypical Liberal--Conservative divisions at
a deeper, historical level, maybe? Perhaps like P in similar ways. 
 
Douglas Glover is a Canadian writer who is not very well known--at least not in the United States, I think. I read
his The Enamoured Knight, full of brilliant stuff about the first novel to contain ''everything" and always wanted
to read more of his work, but alas...I'm just a self-promise breaker....
