Mr. Greenlief, do yourself a favor and finish M&D, it is my current opinion, to the chagrin of others on this list, that this is Pynchon's most poetic novel.
yessir, it is on my list of things to do ... it was certainly not due to lack of interest; i find with pynchon's longer and more serious work, i have to try to avoid periods where i have to step away from the books for an extended period of time. my life over the past few years has not easily afforded me such periods where i can devote a lot of time to reading. like everyone else (conceivably), i have much to do and little time in which to do it.
i'm currently finishing up with VINELAND, which is perhaps my least favorite of the novels.
