Back to AtD. how does TRP feel about railroads? p.930

the question is there any evidence of why Frank would hate them so?
the wild (albeit very interesting) Pynchonian rambles begins to
outstrip the sentiment of the character. (fwiw, I think the mirroring
of sentiment is mostly ok in GR and works best of all in M&D)

I've come to the conclusion that in reading Pynchon I dig those
ramblings and will hereby not really care who's saying them. thats how
I'm gonna approach AtD--there's too much good stuff in the stew to
throw it out the window
