Media Matters reports 50 (fifty) sponsors have said they will no longer sponsor
Rush's awful show.....I wrote David Axelrod and others (DNC) suggesting this:
 
Many inside radio flacks say, "don't worry, he'll get new sponsors, they line up"..
but what this week showed is that many companies which HAD dropped him previously
[GEICO, NETFLIX] got targeted again because they were still on lists, etc......
 
So, i suggested an Open Letter ad in some newspapers, which would get publicity of course,
saying: He will offend again and once a sponsor, even if you choose to leave sponsorship later,
you might sufffer a boycott almost forever...........
 
 
And, Rush defending himself as "just an entertainer" and thinking of his satirist-compatriots 
with real truths behind them----Daily Show; Colbert, SNL, etc---I had this perhaps obvious and
obviously late observation: Pynchon's work predicted them in his very style and vision.
