I recently read another Elder Russell story....Joseph Heller wanted to meet him and contacted him and was 
told to come by when he was in England....
 
He did first trip and the butler said, "You are to go away immediately; Lord Russell will not/never see you".
 
He left. Somehow learned later that his name had been heard as Edward Teller by the hard-of-hearing Mad Dog....
