I do not think I will read this review becuase these remarks are out of his ass.
The question is character creation, then and now, (among other things) and what vision of men and women
in the world, their world, the writers have.
Plenty of assholes want women to "like them"....[no reference] and
many 'male triumphalists" get liked by lots of women...as readers.
