Justice Department Threatens Lawsuits, Alleging Collusion Over E-Book Pricing

Paul's point about the life of printed books still being strong is true.
Most major trade book publishers are getting up to @30% of their
sales in ebooks.....many books higher; many books much lower: Houses quite variable.

However, it is also true that Houses inflate paper print runs in newspaper communications,
that is, they lie, with every press release of "announced printing"......the lie is at least 2-1,
sometimes more.......

In this story, with three books, I think it must mean an announced 250,000 copies of each book in the trilogy.....
with real printings of probably 75,000 to 125,000........................................

As has been stated, no need to overprint if one can go back to press very fast and easily.  first oders
and immediate sales are all the first printing is for......

One can never tell, all the Houses assume.....she could be sued for plagiarism, some kind of influential
backlash can slow/kill them, etc.........
