Contrasting light

Was it Toby Levy, or another. who wrote about all the times the word 'light' 
appeared in GR too (re AtD)?
 
Anyway, I reread the very beginning of GR and, of course, he is right but
once the ubiquity of the word is focused on, one can immediately feel it here
as something mostly missing, barely bright in that collapsed Crystal Palace scene. 
The light is almost gone there...
 
Whereas, TRP starts off AtD with what can feel like a conscious countertheme..
Light Across the Ranges, in the sun, in the daylit world........................
