It is wholly appropriate, and compelling, that the first black
president of the US should speak up about the death of a young black
male at the hands of a vigilante black-profiler. The COULD have been
his son, or ANY other black parent's son. That is the simple truth:
young black males are very venerable at the hands of armed authority.
