Speaking of Carl Jung

Well, I'm basically in agreement with Noll, but I don't think it's a bad
thing. Especially now that Jung's Red Book has been published, it can't be
denied that his personal techniques were more along the lines of those of
magician's and "pagans" than anything even the psychology of his day would
have condoned, let alone modern psychology. Jung talks about having
visions, meeting "people," astral entities, talking and communing with
them. It is my opinion that Noll's perspective is at least more accurate
than Memories, Dreams and Reflections. Much of the latter was actually
written by Aniela Jaffe who herself did much to whitewash Jung on top of
yielding to pressure from Jung's family to edit many things out.
