But wait.  I have not suffered from the post-2001 malaise, as powerful and dreadful as that sounds.  Does that count me out, ineligible?  Illegible?  Malaise yes, but-- Or, wait hold on, it's coming to me now, it was, it is a post-2001 malaise, yes, and I see now it was all because of 2001.
Wow, was that whole thing really 11 years ago?  Now that's malaising.
