far into the future did you think she--TRP?--meant...
 
20s and Bloomsbury and wild 20s Jazz age permissiveness, etc..
 
Or, to the present, lossely speaking?

OK, I'll give it a tumble.

I sort of see the two of them enacting a 1940s movie love story, with all the melodramatic (if Yashmeen's using the right word) elements, a circumstance both of them are aware of, the kicker being the very un-1940s sex talk and the fact that, as they both also know, Cyprian imagines Yashmeen as a man.

It's quite perfect.
