p.884 Reef ain't gay because he is the male 'aggressor" but

No taking it in the ass for Reef, cowboy...
then our author segues to male honor, p.885....
"when it's your honor. it's life and death." ---says Ole Reef
Old-fashioned Gender Masculinity linked to
honor as Shakespeare does in the Henry plays (among others)---
male aggression ......is honorable........
Although Shakespeare has Henry and soldiers make the link
but he has Falstaff question it even before.....
(with great words on Honor)...
