Being a book buyer, to the point of mental illness, a lurker among the used
bookstore stacks, an Amagoogler, it comes as a great relief and source of
joy to find that teaching at a university affords me access to a wonderful
library, full of lovely books, including the ones I would like to read, but
don't presently have the requisite funds to purchase and add to the growing
stacks, which should sometime around August or September cause my boys and
myself to be forced to relocate to a tent in the backyard, or, horror of
horrors, actually make use of the "other' function of my local used
bookstore, and trade something in.

Tony Tanner and Paul Fussell are two recent examples of the above mentioned
unpurchasables. Thanks Plisters!
