Two Great Books

It has been a while, but I seem to remember that the fantastic descriptions
are drug induced, mixed with attempts to describe the paranoid madness of
the conflicts. The heart of darkness film, apocalypse now, manage the same,
although, of course, characters are not given much weight in the film.
