Well, if we take prayer, a la Jim Morrison, as a petition, maybe, doesn't
Lew do a bit of pleading his case, asking only how it was he became so
spiritually soiled, and if he couldn't be forgiven...? Forgive me, too,
please--I'm a couple hundred feet from my copy of AtD or I'd look up some
referents to see if I'm off track.
