The Feminization of TN

Okay. So it wasn't really the Riviera, but the "Provencal" (can't make
that little line under the c in Provencal)-

Tender is the night...

Tasting of Flora and the country green,
Dance, and Provençal song, and sunburnt mirth!
O for a beaker full of the warm South,
Full of the true, the blushful Hippocrene,
With beaded bubbles winking at the brim,
                And purple-stained mouth

But the real question is- will it last? The way things are going, it
may be that "the warm south" will become the coast of a fjord, or the
Arctic Sea that entices poets to spill their hearts out. And if and
when that happens, how will we ever explain the meaning of
Frankenstein, and the frozen arctic, to the kids who've never had a
chance to see it?

I like Fitzgerald-

                                   (...)

And such a wonderful contrast- the cerebral north with the warm, mellow
Riviera, and the dinner tables floating into the night.
