I actually went to see it @ The Whitney Biennial way back when
(weaseled in the preview under the auspices of Pynchon Notes--thanks,
Prof. Krafft!), hung out with Chas. Hollander + Doug Millison (y'all
had yr hand grenade chance, I actually advertised here an'
everything), then spent every morning for the five days I was there
going page by page with a copy of the novel in hand.

I saw it again, purely (?) by happenstance (?), @ a recent
acquisitions show @ The Walker Arts Center in Minneapolis, where it
now apparently resides.  A friend of mine in Brooklyn subsequently
sent along a signed copy of the book:
