Kelly Cherry Charles Rammelkamp's new book of poems is powerful and illuminating. The title, Fusen Bakudan, refers to the Japanese balloon bombs in WWII. From various points of view, he tells the story of the one bomb that struck and killed people in the U.S., in Washington State. As the book progresses he describes a constellation of stories surrounding that one.

Charles Rammelkamp Kelly, I was interviewed on local NPR radio about it and will post the podcast when available. It was must on today on a program called The Signal on WYPR, our local NPR station in Baltimore, which covers local arts and cultural events. 88.1.
