Thanks so much. That's interesting; the two errors not corrected in the Bantam edition are corrected in the Cape one, although the Cape edition retains errors that were corrected in the Bantam. I guess the errors can be written off as missed copy editing/proofreading mistakes and thus a normal part of publishing, but the three editions (Lippincott/Bantam/Cape) could be collated to produce a definitive scholarly edition.
