Garcia Marquez, Gide, Robbe-Grillet, Svevo; a favorite professor did
teach him from time to time, but ...), but did read The Crying of Lot
49 ca. 6th grade or so as it came up in (I believe) David Gerrold's
book about the making of "The Trouble with Tribbles" episode of Star
Trek (one of those making of ST books, @ any rate). GR just looked
interesting ca. my 1st year of college, is all. Founf the P-List via
