I like that Pinker says that the intellectual giants of the past would fill
the gap in their knowledge with a 21st century freshman science class.
Imagine sitting in your Freshman Chemistry lecture at MIT (Cornell,
Stamford ...), you look for that cute kid your noticed out on the grass,
tossing a frisbee, and there, there, sitting in the front row...Spinoza and
Kant...taking copious notes.
