NP very Misc on C.P Snow

I have the omnibus around here somewhere. I've read a few of those novels. If they have continuing interest, it's for seeing how a certain stratum of English society operated at mid-century.

Snow has a multi-volume series called Strangers & Brothers....lots of Englishfolk in govertment work, mostly,
one either gave us or made most famous the phrase 'corridors of power'.....
I think his first was about scientists at work, called The Search...(I know I have that one somewhere.) jealousies, rivalries,
competition, commitment and teamwork, etc....

Ya know whose novels I like? JB Priestley. Are Snow's anything like those, I wonder?
