Although I can't locate Cunningham's International History of the
Quakers online, I did manage to find his _The Quakers, from Their
Origin to the Present Time_ ina google book. There on pp. 4-6
Cunningham sums up young George Fox's state of mind. Of course, the
facts are not disputed by scholars of Quaker History and of Fox.
Cunningham and Jones and Drake, and the others I've cited are
recognized experts in the field of study.
Me, I'm just un-educated pussy. But I know a donkey when it kicks me.
