Welp, finished the book. Won't discuss content as you should all have
the chance to discover it for yourself, but I will say that the
Publishers Weekly review didn't really accord with my reading at all -
in fact even the 'facts' in the piece aren't quite right for me - but
the description of the "sweet, lingering diminuendo" is just about
perfect.

And clear out your inbox over the next few weeks because once the
thing is released I can guarantee this e-list is will go NUTS in ways
it hasn't before. We're going to have to talk about 'characters' and
'emotions' for one thing...
