no conservative Reagan-loving twat by any means but one cannot deny this
propaganda, the new day in America with all its trimmings had a very
influential effect on the culture, certain aspects we are still dealing
with and feeling the negatives effects of. what did the left ever put forth
that spread widely throughout the culture that didnt seem to emanate from
some obscure college campus or warhol whore monger?. These conservative
messages rang true to many a working class stiff, be they misinformed. i
still listen to early gang of four like any post punk miscreant but was
that all there was?
maybe the problem is (to quote This Heat's A New Kind of Water)--its
innate, we're [just] selfish
