The one thing "1984" missed

Not like you, Robin, to post this kind of rubbish. The author is obviously
a member of the brave mew thought police, journalists who do the job
Winston and Syme and Julia were doing in 1984, working for BB, now, Big
Gov.Com, including, of course, re-writing and erasing the past, making
state fiction, denigrating the language, the narrative, claiming, through
mass production of propaganda, the Truth. As P warns in his Foreword, 1984
is abused by Big Gov.Com. No, we don't live in a dystopian totalitarian
state, but are we to accept that the big tech-science police are not Big
Bother, Twin of Big Gov, that Snowden, defended here, attacked there, is
merely Goldstein?
