It seems a cultural critic has coined the phrase " media apriori", a condition in which there is no outside to mediation. [Mark Selzer, TRUE CRIME: Observations on Violence and Modernity, Routledge, 2006] which is borrowed and extended from the concept " postal apriori" which names the virtual presence of the postal system as the condition of possibility of and in the rise of 
the ( epistolary) novel. [Bernhard Siegert, RELAYS: Literature as an Epoch of the Postal System,
Stanford U Press, 1999]
