Pynchon's Sloth Article "Nearer, My Couch, To Thee" --- Opinions?

It's one of those articles that has stuck in my mind, being one of the
younger here more television-prone (or computer-prone, the illusion of
altering, reversing, time remains the same..?),
especially the rather scathing irony of the last bit.
I'm about to go out and wish I could write more but largely I'm concerned
with the many views on The List concerning this article.

DO I detect a hint of anxiety from P., perhaps having felt the sting of
time lost peeking into the lives of the Brady Bunch..?
WHAT would a sin against video-time be?
IN what ways does Luddite Sorrow persist into the 21st Century?
&All the questions I have not asked, out of ignorance or expedience...
