i've had that happen so many times where the results don't come from the effort that now I just talk to the universe and ask for help/work, be ready to do what I can and it seems to come. The world of resumes just doesn't seem to work for me , but there is another world that seems to need me to do what I do. Good luck to you.

Two nights ago I went to bed seriously down, feeling kind of useless, after gazing into the sky at my old friend, Orion and admitting that I really, really need some help here. Yesterday, two actual jobs fell out of the sky--one real job doing what I'm best at in an area where we want to live, the other a part-time job in my next-best area of expertise that will be enough to tide me over until the real job comes through in full-time status. Two side-jobs also fell in my lap after months of advertising. It will please me very much to be among the thus disappeared.
