Oh good for you,  Joseph!  The book is a wonderment - and I enjoyed your parody of style.  (I'd never attempt that.)   

This Bekah took it very slowly - a total of 4+  months total if I remember correctly and with an uncounted 10 week break in there for a North Dakota summer.  Back in Calif,  I'd read 15 or 20  pages a day and scattered throughout the day.  It became like a series of little meditations.   I think everyone has to do it their own way - it's not like anything else.
