a Puritan reminder

The other evening I attended an interesting event at The Andy Warhol Museum.
It was the original opening of one of Andy's Time Capsule boxes, # 540. (These boxes
started as boxes to gather his stuff for a move in the 70s, but then he kept doing them
---for over a decade, until his early death--conceptualizing them in various ways as
art objects. He put stuff in them, simple average size cardboard boxes, and sealed them.)

I won't go into most of the stuff in it but stuff dated from 1956,the later sixties and 1971, it seemed.

One item it held was a piece of colored cardboard or paper, as if from some kind of box or flyer
that was ripped at an angle revealing only two words in different fonts.(Inductively, they would each
be the start of separate sentences, it seems.) And, being ripped of course makes one infer that
it was ripped to conjoin only those two words.

Those words were PURITAN
