carried away with my own rhetoric as usual, of course (where the
succinct shine, there suck i)  (-;


nonetheless, a person can state all day long, oh there's a law of
market behavior, if you're a capitalist, or of history if you're a
marxist, but these curves apply (when they apply at all) to points
already plotted (and the data are incomplete and manipulable) --- show
me a record of accurate predictions and i'll show you a rare bird

even if (a large conditional) Ricardo's law eg defines a swath of
behavior, taken en masse...
there is still an element of individual decision-making, and that is
where we have a chance to shine if we but use it (but all the other
kids are dumping their toxic waste off Somalia, gee mom!)
