the meaning of old people

This is just a, what do you call it, a throw-out for more ideas on the
topic.

Old people...do nothing.

They get in the way.  They act like four heart attacks means nothing.  Then
the next minute, like it means everything.  They continue to act like they
know ever-tang, while quickly diminishing the notion, that they ever had
any-tang.

Sure, they had something. Lots of it. Like 49 worth?  What would have been
beautiful, would have been an old-timer's consciousness back in say 1975.
 Still reeling from the 60s, pumped up, everything is now possible, then
The Rainbow appears, the enlightened literati are tripping out, the
labyrinth is do-able, functionable, navigatable, survivable, fiction is
climaxing, we know it all, we have done it, seen it, *been* it, all....

God I'd give anything to be a part of that.  I really would.  But now
you're all dying.  And soon I'll be dead too.  Like a smidgeon of a
particle of time difference. Who cares, you old fucks?  Go die already!

Unless....there's something more going on here....
