geeze, really?
i know i meander, bluff, bluster, orate, occasionally flounce,
sashay,make errors of fact, correct them as if anybody cared, even
years later (i still feel bad about my theory of what "counterpane"
meant in GR, and Ya Sam, our russian correspondent had noted at the
time agreeing with me - Sir, I apologize, apparently in Britain a
counterpane is a bed-quilt-comforter thingie, not a pane in a window,
so the beasties seen by the little kids were no doubt dream-animals -
not, as I thought, real little squirrels and deer seen through the
window by evacuee kids new to the countryside) announce various TMI
things about myself, create specious critical variants and in general
display my limits quite frequently, nuisancically in all
likelihood...so if i were to block, hey, maybe i should start with
myself.
