women will now officially be allowed to have combat roles in the US
military (not that they havent been doing it already). nature of
warfare today makes that old rule rather quaint as does the general
breakdown of rigid gender roles (which can only be a good thing). not
that I want to see more sons and daughters being put in harm;s way,
mind you
