real problems melding my strong love for individual autonomy and
consensus-based decision-making with the authoritarian traditions of
the Catholic Church!  big disconnect also between my deep and abiding
love for feminism and the Procrustean sex definitions promulgated by
the Pope of Rome.  So I think it might be best to love them from afar.

i'm getting ready to go see Marie, picking up Tony.  also one of his
neighbors is in Altamonte Hospital so we might visit her.  mom and i
nearly finished the puzzle although one piece is missing.  I have been
sleeping really well - but the very best sleep and dreams are from
about 7 to 10 so i've been missing breakfast with marie, but perhaps
it's god's will

i was remembering - with a heartache - how we were walking, the
nuclear family, in winter park in the park on park ave and there was a
pen on the ground but i was about to pick it up and then i thought,
well, somebody might have dropped that and come back and feel bad
because it wasn't there, so you said to make me feel better "you don't
know where it's been" - it was probably 1982 and mom and dad and you
and i were getting some ice cream, one of those times when we were all
walking along together, family outing...
