Do I seem okay to you?
If a little old lady hobbled up to you and poked you with a walker, you
knowing that she'll be dead in a few days, what what you say to her?
Do you reassure her that everything is splended and it's the best of all
possible worlds, *possible,*mind you, and that the sun will rise daily
forever, it should be going to anyway because that's the limits of our
knowledge--based from what other people tell us, astonishingly ignorant
people to boot, curious that--and that the sun will rise gloriously in the
morning just so, glistening your not, well who's keeping track three days
few particle of hair, remaining, struggling for light, except minus the
strong probability the apparent and seeming eternal event say, might
likely, occur without her, not quite so eternal it is them, really, is it,
owing something to do with her being quite dead and forgotten, we haven't
gotten the perfect details on the process it, or do you just shove her away
to the black plavement and tell her to fuck off, knock her into the street
where she might get run over by an early delivery trucking sporting a
smiling sun eating warm scones? Should have gotten a proper education,
rather than breeding perpetually, you old hag--then you'd know, then know'd
know.
