Colum McCann's TransAtlantic, David Mitchell's Cloud Atlas,  Michael
Cunningham's The Hours (add your own) - adventitious clustering, or a
collective interest (and why now, especially?) in stories that become
stories only in a "flipbook" of generations or eras?
