au contraire, the twitter occasionally offers some gleanings of interest,
the new yorker also, a-and i'll bet our mr pynchon has a mind like mk's,
interested in a *lot* of things and finding connections!

it is a good article, and perhaps comedians will begin to figure more
prominently in politics, comedy a shortcut to good sense that could be a
thing we need.  Maybe next time that Colbert will campaign in earnest!
