GR translation: We have to play the patterns.

For what it is worth, (but probably nothing for Jing's translation work), the protagonist of THE DEFENSE, seeing patterns in his whole social life, which is another way to define paranoia, perhaps, gets more and more fearful and finally dies of fear-caused misjudgment, so to speak.
