Is The Great Gatsby the Great American Novel?

Gosh. Alice. Love you. But now thinking too many books. BTW my oldest son
still remembers me reading Moby Dick to him. Spent many hours reading stuff
about sea. That's how he remembers his childhood. Sea. Ocean. He groups it
in with repeated listenings with Sonic Youth's Daydream Nation. Not trying
to be cool.This is just how we are.
