I'm unsurprised by PTA's decency & civility.  He seems like an intelligent
enough artist; he appreciates his own creative freedom and, consequently,
recognizes P's need for the same.

Though I've wanted to do a comix adaptation of CoL49 my entire career, if I
had the opportunity to do so & P were to offer to correspond I'd follow
PTA's example.  It's all there in the book.
