I read with my ears cause my eyes is all worn out with all what I read
thus far under poor mangled light. Not the same street lamp Jimmy read
his books after he got them out of the hock shop where his old man got
his glass full, and,
cause I've gotten, like, like Sloppy, so it's best that I do the
Police In Different Voices so as I can stage them, find the blanks in
the verse, the free open forms, the minor keys and notes of Grace
allusively attenuated, bled, over the cliche edges into parody.
