Thomas Pynchon -- Bleeding Edge Pt. 2

This review was funny, but not intentionally:

"If you want to rate this book as rare to well done, I'd say it is medium
rare."

He "slogged through," but is now percolating back up from the previous
boredom, making him want to read it again. No reason given.  When he said
he hadn't read all of Pychon, I wondered which ones he hadn't.  This guy
needs to sharpen some knives, and maybe back away from his audience.
