You may be right about "violent video games," and there were plenty of 'em
in 2001. But watch out for those stock responses, li'l pard. What we have
on the page is Melanie's Mall, which
1) is figurines and miniature sets, not video
2) is to all appearances a celebration of consumer acquisition: it's Otis
and Fiona, not the game's purveyors, who introduce the action figures and
destruction.
