There are lots of unanswered question about this. Particularly concerning the Silk Road watermark on the seizure graphic. Something makes me think some kind of kill switch went off to protect the users once DPR was arrested and didn't upkeep the site (x hours of time without checking in, etc.)

and I actually met the guy who ran it (didn't know it at the time), he was relatively well known in the party-scene around Austin... I remember getting really blitzed and talking to him about tCoL49, curiously enough... turns out he was involved in some dark, dark shit...
