"Uncanny Valley Pynchon."

Gives me the creeps.

Question: Is it on purpose?

Answer: Maybe, but that doesn't make it Good.

We are securely in the realm of "Fake Pynchon", a territory more fully
explored in the internal reflected refractions of "Against the Day."

Imagine a really good Pynchon novel presented completely in 2001 Cable
Television Tableaus.

So maybe its good, how would I know?

[Throws up his hands, Larry David style.]
