I've not read this list for a while but have begun scanning it since BE was published. May I suggest that people not reflexively reply to a thread by resending a whole daisy chain of prior messages that have already been repeated half a dozen times. It makes for hard going, especially since most of the repetitions wind up with weird formatting characters embedded. Why not isolate the part of a message you're actually replying to, that key phrase or sentence or point, and delete all the rest before sending your own message. That would make the list a joy to read and not a puzzling maze to be negotiated.
